One of my fans called this the "Module Cover" for the adventure. 
In this moment, we catch Chyra, Gwyra, and Roan as they're fleeing from an oncoming enemy. Roan is trying to save them by breaking through the ice of a frozen river, hoping that they can escape beneath it.

Roan is trying to save them by breaking through the ice of a frozen river, hoping that they can escape beneath it.This book has over 30 images, and introduces the character of Roan, (with the blue hair,) played by Larkin Love. She's a dwarf who is a native of the dungeon of DreadHollow, and acting as Chyra's guide. The hair is a plot point for the book, as well as the next one, so I decided to retain the blue as the only color element in the artwork. Larkin actually does have that striking blue hair. She brought several wigs with her to set in case we wanted to use them, but I was like, "No! Your hair is fabulous! We're keeping it!"
