Description
This is the very first image from Book 7, just before Chyra and her friends enter the dungeon. It's sort of like the last moment of sunlight and tranquility before everything gets super dark and horrible.
This one took a while to do, getting the transparency layers to look right for the water. Obviously, we shot Emily in a studio, and the fountain, water, FG, BG, etc. were all comped-in later. The reason for choosing this particular pose was the look on Emily's face. It just conveys that dread that Chyra has for entering the underground and leaving her world of trees and sky behind.
